When we assess your application, we decide whether to offer you a grant or a crowdfunding pledge.
If we offer you a grant, it’s usually for the full amount you applied for. However, we might offer less if some of your costs aren't ones that we can fund.
Benefits of getting a grant
A grant is a one-off payment. You don't have to pay it back if you use the money to deliver the project.
You can use the grant to cover the costs you've outlined in your application to help you deliver positive change in your community.
How grants work
You can expect the money in your bank account within 28 days of accepting the offer and providing bank details.
As a condition of the grant, you need to report on the progress of your activity. When it ends, we'll email you a form to fill out.
We may ask for information about how you spent the money.
You should keep receipts, invoices and a record of what you spend.
You shouldn't pay for anything in cash as it doesn't provide an audit trail and we can't pay you back for it.
For information on the data you'll need to collect, see our Movement Fund reporting requirements.
