In April 2024 we launched our Movement Fund, designed to streamline the process of applying for funding from us.
The £160 million fund offers crowdfunding pledges, grants - of up to £15,000 - and resources to help projects that encourage active lifestyles and create enriching experiences for local communities.
In the years before the Movement Fund we had a series of other funds, with similar offerings, that have since been closed down and condensed into the single Movement Fund - simplifying the process for those seeking support.
This page is here to provide a historical record of those previous funds - about which you can find out more by clicking on the links below.

This crowdfunding initiative match funded successful Crowdfunder campaigns with pledges of up to £10,000 from a total pot of £7.5 million.
It helped local clubs and organisations to run their own campaigns, fundraising for things such as covering for a loss of income due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Active TogetherTogether Fund
The Together Fund was a £20m fund following on from the Tackling Inequalities Fund, which helped reduce the negative impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the widening of the inequalities in sport and physical activity.
We worked with active partnerships and selected national partners to connect funding to local community organisations who were best placed to support our priority audiences through their extensive reach and networks.
