We invest in 43 Active Partnerships as part of our portfolio of system partners.
Between them they create a network of local and independent non-profit organisations that cover every part of England.
Active Partnerships take a place-based approach to reducing inequalities and partner with local and national stakeholders to help transform lives through movement, physical activity and sport.
They affect widespread social change.
Each organisation in this network has a strong understanding of the needs and issues in their own area, with an extensive knowledge of local people, communities, stakeholders and systems.
They focus on increasing activity levels and decreasing inactivity, working closely with those people in the local community who face the biggest barriers to being active.
Active Partnerships also have an important role to play in supporting and helping to implement our Uniting the Movement strategy on a local level.
You can find out more about the network, and find the your local partnership, by visiting the Active Partnerships website.
