Public transport

Loughborough Train Station is around three miles from SportPark.

The ‘Sprint’ bus runs every 10 minutes from the train station to SportPark. The closest bus stop to SportPark is the last stop, which is three minutes from the office. Find more information on their website.

Visitors to campus will be required to pay for their parking. The university is a cashless site and you can pre-book parking here.

Electric vehicle charging is available in both the multi-storey and Holywell car parks. All charging points are provided via the EVC app.

Arrival

Unless otherwise advised by your host, please report to reception at SportPark, who will notify your host of your arrival.

While you wait for Sport England colleagues to greet you, you will be asked to wait in the SportPark cafe on the ground floor.

The café is open from 8am to 3pm, Monday to Friday and serves food, drinks and a selection of snack items.

10 South Colonnade is an HM Government Hub, and Sport England has a small London presence alongside central government departments and other arm’s-length bodies.

Access

As an HM Government building, there are strict security procedures that apply to this office site.

Visitors must bring with them an official form of government-issued photo ID. The most common forms are a valid passport or photocard driving licence. International passports are accepted.

Parking

Visitors to 10 South Colonnade will be required to pay for their parking. There is no parking on site; however the Cabot Square car park is an underground car park less than five minutes’ walk from the office.

Accessibility

10 South Colonnade is a modern, accessible building. Please advise your host if you have any access needs.

There are four accessible parking bays for Blue Badge holders.

Arrival

Due to the security requirements, we advise you arrive 15 minutes in advance of the meeting to check in with security and be booked in by reception.

Before you enter the building, a security guard will ask you to declare which organisation you are visiting.

If you do not have suitable ID, you will be denied entry. Security is managed by the Government Property Agency and there are no exceptions.

While you wait for Sport England colleagues to greet you, you will be asked to wait in the reception area on the ground floor. There is a ground floor café open between 8am and 12pm.

The abbey is a Grade I listed building that dates back to 1260. It has steep stairs, low ceilings and door frames, and no lift access to the upper floors.
